In a survey by Murine of 2000 people, most agreed that upon meeting someone, they first noticed a person's eyes. So why is it that most of us pay little attention to our eye health and have less than “perfect” looking eyes?

Sometimes Being Square is Better: Solatube International asks the question “Are you square or round?”
June 16, 2016
Round versus square. Sharp lines versus curves. The human brain processes each of these differently, according to a led by Moshe Bar and Maital Neta. In their study with round and square objects, they found that most people prefer rounded objects and shapes to sharp-angled ones.* Over the past 25 years, Solatube International has been catering to this majority with its round diffusers. But what about those who prefer sharper lines?
Solatube has finally heard their pleas and now has a square diffuser for residential Solatube Daylighting Systems.
“Part of the magic of our products is the fact that we use a round tube, so it was only natural that we used a round fixture at the ceiling,” said Robert Westfall, president of Solatube International. “But we now know there are a substantial number of people that prefer squares so we literally had to figure out how to put a round tube in a square hole to accommodate those preferences.”
